Britney Spears is currently fighting for her freedom amidst the grueling legal proceedings surrounding the conservatorship that her father holds. Since 2008, it has been revealed that everything from her finances to her fertility has been controlled by her family members, and details are starting to emerge depicting to exactly what shocking extent this vice grip over her life has become. In the hours since the first details emerged from the courthouse, many celebs have taken to Twitter to vocalise their support for Britney Spears.
So, from ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake to fellow musicians Halsey and Mariah Carey, here are all the celebs that have spoken out in support of Britney Spears during her ongoing conservatorship battle.

Ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake tweeted a thread of support for Britney, acknowledging that their past was troublesome but telling followers that “no woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body”.

Khloe Kardashian tweeted her message of support shortly before Justin, telling Britney that she deserves “better” and that “no one should be treated like this”.

Mariah Carey, who has shared a relationship with Britney since they first came up together, tweeted last night that she loves Britney and wants her to “stay strong”.

Halsey, a musician that has never shied away from discussing important topics with her following on Twitter, posted two separate messages toward Britney.
The first expressed admiration for Britney’s courage in “speaking up for herself” and called the system of conservatorship “abusive”.
